Dr. Savells has developed her career as a pediatrician over the past 20 years.Dr. Savells and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Sosnowski, have made a home here in Mobile with their 4 children.She is active in the community serving on multiple hospital committees at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital and is an Adjunct Associate Professor for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama.Dr. Savells and her family enjoy going to their children’s many sports games, watching their oldest play in the McGill-Toolen band, and being active parishioners at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Norma D. Mobley, M.D., FAAP

Norma D. Mobley, M.D., FAAP

Mobile, AL Pediatrician

Dr. Mobley is an established Board Certified pediatrician in the Mobile Community. She is known for her dedication by achieving and maintaining the best standards of care possible, and treating the "whole patient."

She attended Michigan State University, majoring in Medical Technology and Psychology. She completed her graduate studies at Emory University and worked as a Primary Care Physician Assistant before medical school. She attended Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She remained in Atlanta to complete her specialty training in pediatrics through the Emory University School of Medicine Program.

She also served as Pediatric Chief Resident, was voted Resident of the Year and by unanimous decision, received the Mary Brady Award recognizing her as “The most self-reliant pediatric resident who supports others in the most positive, nurturing way”.Being the eldest of her parent’s five daughters, and a loving single parent to her son Cameron, Dr. Mobley has a strong sense of family.

In addition to caring for children in her busy pediatric practice, Dr. Mobley is adjunct teaching faculty for the University of South Alabama, and has been awarded “Teacher of the Year”.She is the pediatric medical director for Mercy Medical, a local home health/hospice agency.She also precepts medical students, students of allied health, and acts as mentor to college students contemplating careers in medicine.She has additionally volunteered her services caring for children through missions in Mexico, Mississippi (post Hurricane Katrina), and most recently in Haiti since the devastating earthquake.

Sonia Grevenitis, M.D., FAAPSonia Grevenitis, M.D., FAAP

 

Dr. Sonia Grevenitis is a native of Birmingham, AL and has been a pediatrician since 2010. She graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis,TN with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Grevenitis then moved to Mobile and graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.

Dr. Grevenitis completed her pediatric residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was a practicing pediatrician in Charleston, SC prior to moving back to Mobile.

Dr. Grevenitis is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Grevenitis' areas of interest include childhood vaccine education as well as management of asthma and ADHD. Dr. Grevenitis loves to spend quality time with her young daughter and husband, who is a gastroenterologist, and also enjoys shopping and traveling.

 

LaTanya Bryant, CRNP

LaTanya Bryant, CRNP

LaTanya Bryant is a native of Mobile, AL, and is a wife and mother of three.

LaTanya is a graduate of the University of South Alabama where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998. LaTanya worked for seventeen years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2014.

LaTanya is licensed as a registered nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is authorized for Advanced Practice Nursing by the Alabama Board of Nursing and approved for the Collaborative Practice with Katherine Savells, M.D.

LaTanya joined Mobile Pediatric Clinic in the spring of 2015. She is the youngest of nine children and has a love and passion for Pediatrics. She prides herself on making sure she is well-rounded as she balances her career with family and church.

 

Scott Clements, MD, FAAP

LaTanya Bryant, CRNP

Upon his retirement from the US Navy in 2006, Dr. Clements settled in Baldwin County with his wife, Karen, a Baldwin County native. He attended the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences medical school and did his pediatric residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda MD. He then provided medical care to the dependent children of military members in Bethesda MD, Jacksonville and Cherry Point NC, Guantanamo Bay Cuba, Corpus Christi TX, Pensacola FL, and Beaufort SC.

After leaving the Navy, he joined the pediatric department of USA medical school and worked USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. He provided inpatient care at the hospital and served as Director of the Inpatient Service. After leaving the inpatient wards, he continued to work at the Children’s Evaluation Center at the hospital. He joined Mobile Pediatrics in Oct 2017.

His medical interests include health literacy, health education, and medical ethics. He obtained his master’s degree in health ethics in 2013. He is interested in children’s health worldwide, and he has gone on medical missions to Kenya, Honduras, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

He is married to Karen Clements, and between them, they have 5 children and 15 grandchildren.
